Implications for Enclosure

I recently published Collections as Data: Implications for Enclosure in College and Research Libraries News. It was a great opportunity to refract collections as data through the lens of scholarly communication. As always promise considered in the context of potential peril.

As we reflect on the generative potential of collections as data, we must also consider the threat of enclosure. This line of thinking spans collections, infrastructure, and, ultimately, you and me.

  1. Having read this I thought it was extremely enlightening.
    I appreciate you spending some time and effort to put
    this information together. I once again find myself personally spending a significant amount of time both reading and posting comments.

    But so what, it was still worth it!
